Tie DyeTie Dye

Tie Dye came into our rescue program on April 06, 2013. Tie Dye came from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office along with 62 other horses and 3 Llama's as a severe cruelty case. Seminole County investigated an animal cruelty case consisting of over 120 animals, where several carcasses were found. Sadly, for many horses, help came too late. We were able to assist Seminole County and save 63 horses and 3 Llama's from neglect. Tie Dye is a Beautiful, Blue Roan, Percheron X, Mare. Tie Dye is estimated to be 3 years of age. Tie Dye is a body score of a 2. She is infested with internal/external parasites, has rain rot and is mildly anemic. She is super sweet and very smart. She loves attention and always easy to approach and catch. She loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. Tie Dye has already started gaining weight and she is growing each day. Her colors change daily, but she is certainly a beautiful girl. You can see how much Tie Dye has improved in just 30 days. The top 2 pictures of Tie Dye are the day of the seizure and the bottom 2 pictures are just 30 days later. All of the horses are doing great and improving daily. Many have a long road of recovery ahead of them, while many others will be coming available for adoption soon. Tie Dye will be coming available for adoption soon. We will update as she progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Tie Dye's Rehabilitation.

Update July 2013 Tie Dye is now seeking her forever, loving home. Tie Dye is gaining weight and doing great. She keeps hitting growth spurts, and is all legs. She is going to be a big, beautiful girl. Tie Dye is not broke to ride, with the right amount of time and training, she will make someone an excellent horse.
